Hiding behind a concrete fence, and under the street level, J Pavilion sits on two terraces facing the peaceful and quiet green mountains of Chouf. High trees are planted alongside the fence with the neighbors, thus creating natural boundaries and emphasizing on the house’s complete isolation. The volume, is an elongated box housing the bedrooms and family living giving onto a back garden. Being moved away from the street, a natural intimate environment is thus provided for the rooms while the Master bedroom benefits from a jaccuzzi. This concrete block sits on what seems to be a Stone retaining wall but in fact houses the living rooms, open kitchen and dining room. The functions are connected to the outdoor wooden deck and infinity pool giving onto the view. Natural shading devices such as bamboo louvers infiltrate the sun rays through the different spaces.
